Are there some things I would have liked to see that aren't included in the book?
Yes.
It would have been nice to have seen some information on the playing card insets on the cards. Maybe something about how they relate to Lenormand readings, their history of being on Lenormand cards, or something similar.
Does that make the book less complete for me?
No! It's a very detailed, complete, well-organized guide to reading Lenormand.
The Essential Lenormand could very well be the only book you need on Lenormand. It's definitely the first book you should purchase.
